When the "Send Alert Updates" option is enabled on an Integration, notifications will be sent whenever an alert is updated. An alert can be updated for any of the following reasons:
metadata changes
tags changes
user attribution added
alert ended
alert reopened
alert suppressed
Note that "Send Alert Updates" is only available for SNS and Webhook integrations.
