To configure the Log Storage quota for firewall logs in Panorama, you now have to use the Cloud Services Portal (https://apps.paloaltonetworks.com). You are no longer able use the cloud services plugin for configuring log quota.

The quota changes you make in the cloud service plugin (Panorama > Cloud Services > Configuration > Logging Service click Set up), will not be pushed to the Cloud Logging Service.

And currently, the Cloud_Services Plugin 1.0.2 allows you to edit and configure Log Storage Quota on Panorama which could be confusing/misleading.

The idea is to add a pop-up to direct the users to App portal to configure Log Quota, etc in the up coming Panorama/Cloud-plugins:

Notification you will get when you try to use the Plug In to configure the Log Quota.

Important points to note regarding Logging-Services Activation on the App Portal

  1. For existing customers, any Logging Service attached to Panorama is already 'activated' you don't have to activate the logging service again on the App Portal, so you can skip the 'Activate New App'  workflow after signing in to the App Portal Login Page, which requires an AUTHCODE. The Logging-Service App should be available after you sign-in.
If you do not see the 'Logging Service' app, check that the login user is assigned the correct role( Role - Logging-Service) in the Palo Alto Networks Support Portal. (Reference Hub Getting Started Guide, Manage App Roles)
  1. Click on the 'Logging Service' app as shown below to configure the Log Storage Quota.

Note: New Logging-Service customers on boarding will be required to go through the 'Activate New App' and activate using their AUTHCODE from App Portal.
