Logging Service App missing in the Cloud Services Portal after User login

Symptom


From Cloud Services Plug-in version 1.0.2 and later, Logging Service configuration, management and monitoring can be done in the Cloud Services Portal.

Before which, Logging Service needs to be activated on Panorama(s) in the Customer Support Portal which can verified under Assets > Cloud Services section.

 

If you have activated Logging Service and do not see it as shown below, you might not have the roles required to access the app. Please go to the Customer Support Portal to obtain the roles from your organization's administrator.

Resolution


On the Customer Support Portal , Under Members > Managed Users,  Identify and Edit the User and add 'Logging Service'

as a role and Save it.

Note : If you will still be required to add 'Logging Service' role even if you are mapped to a 'Super User' role.

 

After adding the 'Logging Service' role you should be able to view the Logging Service App.
