The Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA), is a federal law enacted by the United States’ Congress in December 2000 to address concerns about access in schools and libraries to the internet and other information. As the vast majority of search engines can serve up content that is encrypted over SSL, this presents a challenge for enforcing CIPA compliance by network/security administrators. Fortunately, Palo Alto Networks offers multiple recommendations to enforce search engine safety.
