Palo Alto Networks Live Community introduces Zuky the Robot in a video series to help children learn about cybersecurity and why internet security is important. Parents and guardians can also find helpful tips to keep children safe online and quizzes to enhance the learning experience for children.
Did you know Palo Alto Networks offers parents and guardians a great way to teach children about cybersecurity?
If any of you took children to watch the new Disney animated film, Ralph Breaks the Internet, then you likely noticed the cybersecurity cameos throughout the movie. Although the movie can provide some great insight on cybersecurity, perhaps the lessons on cybersecurity got lost for children among the moral of the story and the theatrics of Ralph’s heroism.
No need to fret. We have a solution.
Allow me to introduce Zuky the Robot.
Zuky is the newest cyber hero at Palo Alto Network who stars in a series of animated videos that help children learn about cybersecurity. These videos can be found on Zuky’s very own YouTube channel.
If you’re a parent, then you know how daunting it can be to explain cybersecurity to a child when their young minds are still grasping the concept of the internet. I’m sure most just want to play games online, watch videos, or chat with their friends on social media. What other purpose is there for kids these days? Right?
As your child begins learning more about the internet and this new world to explore, we believe it is also important to inform them of ways to stay safe on the internet. This is why Palo Alto Networks took steps to help parents find the easiest ways to explain different topics related to cybersecurity.
