Captive Portal Redirect to Loopback Interface is Not Working

Issue

The Captive Portal page is not showing up in the Redirect Mode in combination with a Loopback Interface.

The global counters show the following drop counter:

Session discarded: unknown application to control plane

The flow basic information shows the following drop message:

Packet dropped, control plane service not allowed

Resolution

Enable the response pages on the Physical Interface and on the loopback interface, review the examples shown below:
