What is the CLI command to change the IP address of management interface?

Environment


  • Palo Alto Firewall
  • PAN-OS 8.1 and above.

Resolution


  1. The CLI command "set deviceconfig system ip-address..." can be used to change the IP address. Refer example below.
> Configure
# set deviceconfig system ip-address x.x.x.x netmask x.x.x.x default-gateway x.x.x.x
# commit
  1. The changes can be verified by running the "show system info" command.
> Show system info
