Greetings

The Palo Alto Networks Education team is excited to announce the availability of the updated Palo Alto Networks Certified Security Engineer (PCNSE) exam.

The exam covers topics related to PAN-OS® 9.0 software, Panorama, GlobalProtect, and other aspects of the Palo Alto Networks network security platform that a firewall network engineer needs to know to design, install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot the vast majority of Palo Alto Networks implementations. Note: This exam does not cover Aperture, Traps, or AutoFocus.

The PCNSE exam has an expiration date of two years with the latest release. Candidates will need to retake the exam every 2 years (24 months) to keep their certification current. (Policies for rescheduling and canceling an exam will not change.)

Please check the FAQs if you have questions about these changes.

The PCNSE study guide provides an overview of the exam. It explains its scope and how a candidate can register for and attempt it. The study guide also shows the objectives covered by the exam and includes sample questions and resources for candidate preparation.

The study guide has been posted to the PCNSE Certification page.
