About LDAP Proxy with User-ID Collector.

L3 Networker

Hello.

I have a question. When using USER-ID Collector on Agentless Environment, LDAP Proxy can be enabled? or not? I believe that it is not working. If possible, Please let me know how do I configure or install that function.

Thanks.

Regards,

Roh

hello,

I ve seen with PANOS 7.1 user id enhancement that Redistribution agents can receive IP/user mappings from all available sources of User-ID information, including Windows UID agents. and that used LDAP proxy is a workaround to redistribution of LDAP Group . SO I think that you can use an windows uid agent as proxy LDAP. and redistribute this information with the collector

reagards,

The LDAP proxy functionality requires use of a Windows User-ID agent.

The PAN-OS User-ID agent does not function as an LDAP proxy.
