CVE Update and Filter Creation

Not applicable

I would like to know if there is a way to track whether or not a filter regading a specific CVE is being worked on or not, or if there is a way to request attention be applied to a specific CVE.

I saw the doc (https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/docs/DOC-1248) which explains how to check what is available, but I am wondering if there is more.  Under certain circumstances it might be easier to wait for a filter than to deploy a half cocked roundabout fix, but it would be good to know if I can request that, or know if one is in the works.

Thanks.

Hi Keith,

there is no way to track the creation of a CVE through the pan device.

You can send in a email to support@paloaltonetworks.com with specific detail on the CVE and support can generate a case to track it with our content team...and then get back to you.

thanks,

Stephen
