Can Captive Portal Standalone? Without required any authentication server?

Hi All,

I have question regarding captive portal... Can captive portal being done without require any NTML , AD or RADIUS server?

Can the authentication being done inside the PAN box without the needs of User Idenfication Agent?

Please help....

Hello,

Captive Portal can't be used for standalone authentication.  An AD server must validate the NTLM response from the user when Captive Portal is used with NTLM and Captive Portal with Web forms must authenticate via RADIUS.

Hi All,

Now the situation :

User in the RADIUS server authenticated successful with CISCO ASA RADIUS Server or Microsoft RADIUS but unable redirected to the desired page such as www.google.com... The page just stay at the captive portal page... The PAN firewall log shows it successful authenticated... Please help...
