Hotmail Categorization Weirdness

Hey folks,

User reported MSN mail being blocked as phishing-and-other-frauds, but my Hotmail and her other MSN email accounts work fine.  I investigated and found that the server:

sn123w.snt123.mail.live.com

Is being categorized by the PAN device as phishing-and-other-frauds, but other MSN servers are not, like this one:

co105w.col105.mail.live.com

which is correctly being categorized as web-based-email.

I went to the Brightcloud website and did a lookup on

sn123w.snt123.mail.live.com, and they say that server is fine.

What's going on here?

Thanks,

Grant

Re: Hotmail Categorization Weirdness

Hi Grant,

I tested that url on various PAN devices including our Corp device and it is being recognized as web-based-mail. We're currently running URL version 3516 at the moment. What version is running on the PAN box in question?

Thanks,

Renato

Thanks, that was it.  Upgraded to 3519 and it works now.

Thanks for your help.

This is happening to me with Yahoo! mail today. I had to add yming.com to my unblock list, and it works now..
