How to correctly visualize groups and users in security policy

L2 Linker
Hi everyone

I’m working with a Palo Alto 3250 (Pan-OS 8.1.1).

I made integration with LDAP, and configurated group mapping setting.

My problem is when I want add any group or user in a security policy the object appear like cn=Admin,ou=groupadmin,dc=example,dc=com and I want to see just the user or the group, not visualize the full path of the user. In this case I would like to see Admin

How can I change that?

Thanks!

Mats.

@Matias_Cova,

If you're going to be running 8.1 code I'd keep it up-to-date at the moment. However support is right, this would resolve itself if you update the version. You'll see in the XML file that it's actually referenced both by full-path and normalized, but it will normalize in the GUI.
