How to install self signed certificate to Android phones

L4 Transporter

hello all

after upgrade to new GP 4.1.8 there is some kind of problem

The phones try to connect to portal and gateway and after it we get security warning but we continue and get connected

But then when we try to connect ones more the GP says it is failed. We must re-enter the login and password again

Is it some way to stay connected on GP even if you close the GP application on phone?

And how i can install the exported self-signed certificate from PA to android phones?

@Radmin_85,

Since we're talking about Android these options may change just a bit on different vendor devices.

1. Settings

2. Security & Location > Advanced > Encryption & Credentials.

3. Credential Storage

4) Go into 'Install from storage'

5) Tap Menu

6) Under "Open From" navigate to your cert.

7) When importing hit 'VPN and Apps'

Once the certificate is installed you may need to restart to get the app to stop displaying the cert warning.
