I want to know some details about a specific threat signature.

L4 Transporter

Hello everyone

I have this threat signature.: "NUCLEAR Exploit Detection Kit (38268)" , and I'm researching on what date was it created?

I need to know which version of the threats database was included and released this signature?

I would greatly appreciate any help.

Regards,

dicu

The first place to visit when you have any question about any threats at all needs to be:

https://threatvault.paloaltonetworks.com

Going into that site, and searching on this threat reveals this page:

https://threatvault.paloaltonetworks.com/Home/ThreatDetail/38268

I am sorry that this page does not display that much information.

But researching more, and going to the Dynamic update page here:

https://support.paloaltonetworks.com/Updates/DynamicUpdates/245

I see that Apps and Threats version 531 is where this protection was introduced.

Here are the release notes for release 531, available from the Dynamic Update site:

https://downloads.paloaltonetworks.com/content/content-531-2929.html?__gda__=1444446905_24e9260c8810...

You can see the Nuclear Exploit Kit Detection is at the top of the list.

I wish I could provide more information, but that is all we have at this time.

Please let us know if this helps.

Regards,

Joe
