Is there any way to block Linkedin video?

Hi @Jafar_Hussain ,

 

There is app available called 'linkedin-learning-video'. This App-ID identifies the video streaming activity of linkedin.

You can block same.

I have tried this but it is not working as well as i have cheked with decryption but still same issue persists.

In the traffic logs for the video content what's the application being defined as?

Are you decrypting the traffic? If not the traffic will be seen as SSL.

-Yes traffic is decrypted.

- application is showing linkedin

 

Hello,

Perhaps fill out a support ticket? Could be the application signature might require an update from PAN's side.

Tested on PA running 81.9 seems it allows the linkedin video.

I am decrypting the traffic and i see app as linkedin-base.

 

I put rule to block app linkedin learning and linkedin learning video

I have tried the same process but still, i am facing an issue. i can't block Linkedin video.

Time to open case with PA TAC.
