PAN-OS 5.0.5 :Commit failed

Hello,

I have upgrade my firewall from 5.0.1 to 5.0.5 successfully.

But when I am trying to commit. It is giving below error.

Details vsys -> vsys1 -> global-protect -> global-protect-portal -> portal-tunnel -> client-config -> configs -> default-user-config -> gateways -> external -> list -> 172.xx.xxx.xxx/27 '172.xx.xxx.xxx/27' is invalid

Kindly advice on this.

This is an expected error because the external gateway address needs to be a unicast address. So please remove the subnet mask and try again.

Can you change gateway ip inside as 172.xx.xx.xx not typing /27

and commit

corect for specified a gateway you don't need to precise the cidr, the client routing table should used the correct network to forward packet
