Pan-configurator predefined.xml

L1 Bithead

Hello,

I am using Pan-configurator to create some scripts, and i am wondering how to update predefined.xml file.

Can we update this file manually or automatically?

Kind regards.

Hi,

this is an easy one 🙂

if you have installed your pan-configurator following the installation documentation then you can use the following alias:

pa_download-predefined in=api://[MGMT-IP]

the script check if your firewall has a newer predefined.xml version, if yes it will download and replace the one available on your pan-configurator environment.

regards

Sven
