Panorama and Solarwinds SCP for Scheduled Backups

L2 Linker

I have SCP running on windows host, Solarwinds

Can I please ask if anyone has this working successfully?.

Palo support seem to suggest that the SCP server needs to be Linux host

Thank you

Hi @nawaza

It just worked. (But I am not sure if I had to create/restrict the local windows firewallrule for incoming connections on port 22)

Yes, I can confirm, it works.

Tested with PAN-OS 8.0.5/6/7 and 8.1.0

Ah thanks !

Can I ask if there was any special configuration on Solarwinds end, or did it just work?

Kind regards

Hi ,

Anyone else facing this issue?

It does not seem to work for Panorama schedule backup with windows base scp server(solarwind).

However , scp via command line is working . This is puzzling..

Any idea guys?

@JoelWong what panorama version do you use?
