Problems with drive with offline files via GlobalProtect VPN

L1 Bithead

I'm running Windows 10 Enterprise verison 1709, GlobalProtect 4.0.6-7, and Windows domain.  I have files on a network drive (J:) that I've made available offline. When I connect to my network via VPN, I can't find a way that will allow me to access the files on J: that are not available to me offline.

Since I connect to the VPN after I've logged into Windows, I don't expect it to map any drives for me, but I can't even access this drive via its UNC path to get at the remaining files.  Any suggestions?  I don't connect to the VPN regularly, or I'd just remove the offline files.  I don't want to move my offline files to another path, but I guess that's an option.  Or I could make them available via another mechanism, like OneDrive.

Any other suggestions?

@John_Trask,

Have you verified that you actually have a security policy in place to allow this traffic?
