Pushing config from Template stack

Cyber Elite
Cyber Elite

We have same template name  say corp 1 and corp 2

then we have template stack name dept and add these two templates corp 1 and 2 to this.

Now if we push config from template stack to PA will it be pushed from both corp 1 and 2 ???

say corp1  has syslog name test1

corp 2 has syslog name test2

will it add both to the PA?

Yes, it'll add both syslog servers, test1 and test2, assuming that this configuration pertains to syslog server profiles. Reason being is this type of configuration is not an overlapping configuration.

You can actually preview the template stack of how the push would look via the Panorama.

"The Template at the top of the Stack has the highest priority in the presence of overlapping config" -

Taken from the GUI, this statement applies ONLY to overlapping configuration (i.e. hostname, management IP address, interface IP addresses, etc)

Many Thanks for testing this out.
