Recycling old Palo gear

L1 Bithead

Does anyone know of a recycling program for Palo Alto networks, we have an old 5050 in the office we want to get rid of (no support or licenses) and would rather not throw it in the trash

I don't know of a recycling program, but you could always sell it if it's in good shape. There is a secondary market recertification program that the new owner could use to get it licensed and supported:

https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/services/support/support-policies/secondary-market-policy

A quick ebay check shows PA-5050s ranging from $7000 to $9500.
