SMTP Authentication for Reports, Alerts, etc.

L0 Member

Hello,

I'm trying to setup my PA-500 (running PAN-OS 5.0.0) to e-mail me reports and alerts.  But, there are no options for SMTP authentication, which our mail server requires us to use.  Am I missing the options somewhere, or is this feature not built-in to the PAN-OS?

If it isn't, can we please add this to a feature request list, since I'm sure a lot of people who don't run a full mail server in-house could use the support for SMTP authentication?

Thank you for your help!

Hi Nicholas,

Yes, you are right. We don't have this feature as of yet available on the PAN OS. You would have to submit a feature request for it through your local Systems Engineer. They are the guys who you can coordinate and gets updates regarding feature request.

Thanks,

Syed Hasnain
