SSL VPN client support - Apple iPad?

L4 Transporter

Does anyone know of a way to get an SSL VPN established with an iPad?

I've managed to make it work with XP, Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit) and OSX, but I don't think the iPad is supported.

Is this likely to be on the roadmap, or failing that is there an alternative method of getting a VPN connection to an iPad working with PanOS?

Thanks

Good morning,

At this point and time there is no SSL/VPN client for the Apple iPad with the current shipping product. The possibility of such a client is motivated by demand from the customer base. If you feel this is an important addition to our supported platforms you should contact your sales representative and have them enter a feature request. paloalto NETWORKS is motivated to provide the products customers need and input is always welcomed.

Phil.

Thanks. At least I can definitively now tell the executives demanding VPN access via their shiney new iPads where to get off. 🙂

Cheers.

I'm being somewhat facetious, but executives need layer 3 vpn support on ipads? How about ActiveSync? Smiley Happy

Cheers,

Kelly
