Suppress discovery notifications in Windows10

L0 Member

Hi, I'm an IT for a enterprise company and one of my users are tired of getting discovery notifications from the Palo Alto client. Basic windows blocking don't work and I found this site from Palo Alto that is 404. https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/documentation/71/globalprotect/globalprotect-admin-guide/set-up-the...

I need assistance, perhaps I have to configure some registry changes but I'm not sure which ones.

@p4lm4r,

This should point you in the right direction HERE

*Edit*

Nope that link isn't what you want actually HERE is the currect one. Just as an FYI though this can be modified from the Portals agent configuration through the App config. The option you are looking for in particular is the Show System Tray Notficiations value, by default the value is Yes and you want it to be No. That should prevent these types of messages.
