Unusual Log entry

L0 Member

In the monitor tab, I'm seeing entries  as sys1+[zone Name] in both the "from zone" and the "to zone" columns. What could this mean?

This was on a pair of Palo Alto 5050's running 4.1.6.  We would see the entries on the firewall and in Panorama... We have since resolved the problem though.  It was due to the HA pair databases being out of sync / corrupted.  Tech Support helped us clear them out and let them re-sync and it has fixed the problem.

so the sys1 is obviously the Virtual System, but the actual data in the Virtual System column is empty.  There are other logs where the to and from zones are strictly those zones (without the sys1+) and then sys1 does show in the Virtual system column.  What is the difference here?  Trying to figure out what is causing those entries in the logs.

What OS version and device type?

Is this the firewall or in Panorama?

If this is in Panorama, what context are you in?

Can you provide an example/screenshot?
