VRRP on switches connected to PA in active and passive mode

below we have setup

Where switches and routers are running ospf.

PA has static route to the VRRP IP of the switch.

1>>Need to know is this good design to have the VRRP backup router connected to the PA active switch?

2>>Also yesterday when we reboot the router 1 during that time we lost the internet connection

Hello,

We block online storage. Can you past your screen shot/diagram into the message body?

Please advise,

Re: VRRP on switches connected to PA in active and passive mode

Hello,

So from the diagram and my experience here are my replies:

1. I would swap the master and backup VRRP roles. This can be done with priorities.

2. Sounds like a routing issue in the switches/routers?
