What is current PAN OS version is target or recommended

Recommended for each major version are as follows

7.1 = 7.1.22

8.0 = 8.0.13

8.1 = 8.1.4 (8.1.4-h2 if using PA-3200)

Where is this listed officially? On the cisco site they put a star next to the recommended code release but for palo alto I never really know what the recomended release really is until I call support and they say "your on an unrecommended release you need to upgrade."

Palo Alto does not publish the recommended release. You either need to ask here where the community can assist you or contact support. For a more detailed write-up on reasons see HERE
