When was "firebase-cloud-messaging" added?

L1 Bithead

I found that the google-base join time is displayed here and here. In the list, the firebase cloud message is not included.

Recently, the rule setting only uses google-base, which causes FCM to not work properly, so I would like to ask "firebase-cloud-messaging" is When did join?
Why not let it be in "google-base"? It is a service provided by google.

Because google-base is generic. the more granular we can identify applications, the more control you have over what goes in and out of your network, plus have a better view in reports what is actually consuming bandwidth etc

if you dislike or have no need for the new app-id, you can always disable it which will revert the sessions back to google-base:
