Hi,

We are using URL rewriting proxy server. When a remote user makes a web connection to the proxy server .
The proxy works as an intermediary between users and the databases they are trying to access
users are authorized to access the database subscriptions and delivers the e-content to them
The server authenticates  identity, then passes the request on to the content provider with Proxy's IP address attached instead of the user's.
The content provide passes the content back to your proxy server .Proxy then delivers the content to the user.

the question is sometimes the communication drops  

What are the troubleshooting steps needed to be done .
