youtube not working in ipad

hi,

does anyone know why youtube cannot play in ipad?

if i'm using youtube apps, the video is working

the setting is in l2 subinterface and we allow all incoming and outgoing traffic.

Is there anything relevant in the traffic logs (pertaining to the detected applications in both cases, youtube in browsers vs youtube app) ?

if i open youtube through safari it will detect as 'web-browsing'

and if it's open through youtube apps it will detect as 'youtube-base'

all the traffic is allow

In any case, is there any URL Filtering profile in this policy which could restrict web usage ?

right now i'm not in the office so i can't screenshot the configuration.

but here is the configuration :

name           : trust_to_untrust

src_zone      : trust

src_address : any

src_user      : any

dst_zone      : untrust

dst_address : any

dst_user      : any

service         : any

url               : any

action         : allow

profile          : none

strange thing is youtube is working in android OS and windows OS

it's only not work in ipad or iphone through safari browser

i'm not test in macbook

I just tested and it works from both Safiri and youtube app..

There could be may reasons, so if you have the time to call into support we can take a close look at counters.

An any any policy moved to the top with source IP address of the ipad and no filtering should work.

If not then we can assist over a web meeting.
