Which Cable Connects a Terminal Server to the Palo Alto Networks Firewall Console Port?

Use a rollover cable to establish communication between the terminal server and console port of the Palo Alto Networks firewall. The pinning for a rollover cable is 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 on one side and 8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 on the other. This enables the rollover cable to function as a null modem cable between the devices.

Note: A rollover cable is not the same as a crossover cable.

I have attempted connecting a straighthrough ethernet cable from an avocent terminal server to the console port of the PAN and I am able to get it working.

You can use cable dedicated for HP ProCurve switches as well - it's working !

Can we use  Cisco console cable??

Yes, the pin out on the Cisco console cables is compatible with PA firewalls.
