Resolution

Issue

In a multi-vsys environment, running command: show user group name <value>, returns incorrect results.

Cause

Some commands are vsys specific.  If the target vsys is not specified for these commands, the command defaults to vsys1.

Resolution

  1. To show the current vsys
    > show system setting target-vsys
    vsys1
  2. To set the target vsys, run command:
    > set system setting target-vsys vsys#

The prompt changes to reflect the target vsys. For example:
    admin@PA-5050 vsys1>
  3. Run the vsys specific command:
    show user group name <value>
