Issue

Jun 25 11:28:56:456516 Error( 328): pan_SC_GetPropertyList(State:/Network/Global/DNS) failed

Jun 25 11:28:56:456525 Error( 537): failed to prepare sysconf

Jun 25 11:28:56:456669 Debug( 894): ProcMonitor: do_disconnect()

Jun 25 11:28:56:456677 Info ( 908): VPN disconnect. The reason is Internal error. Notify server

Cause

SubKey "Network/Global/DNS" is necessary for Global Protect Client on Mac to work. To verify, run the "scutil" command on the Mac and type "list":

$ scutil

> list

  subKey [0] = Plugin:IPConfiguration

  subKey [1] = Plugin:InterfaceNamer

  subKey [2] = Setup:

   :

  subKey [73] = State:/Network/Global/DNS

  subKey [74] = State:/Network/Global/IPv4

  subKey [75] = State:/Network/Global/Proxies

If the subKey "Network/Global/DNS" doesn't exist, that means there's no DNS setting on any of network interfaces configurations.

Resolution

Add a DNS server IP address in the network settings on the Mac.

System Preferences... > Network > Ethernet > Advanced... > DNS > DNS Servers
