Overview

This document explains how to calculate the number of SSL proxied sessions for a dataplane on a Palo Alto Networks device.

Details

Use this command to show the software buffer pool for Proxy sessions:

> debug dataplane pool statistics | match proxy

See this example:

> debug dataplane pool statistics | match proxy

        Proxy Session : 7055/7936     0x80000000b0dc7be0

The total number of ssl sessions proxied would be 7936 – 7055 = 881.

Note: Without an SSL session in an environment, the counter should show : 7936/7936.
