A customer has an M-100 with a valid support license and 100 device management license verified on Panorama > Licenses and Panorama > Support. Licensing for the M-100 device was also confirmed on the Support Portal under Entitlement. When the customer tries to add the 26th managed device on Panorama, it fails with this error:
"constraints failed: Maximum number of managed devices reached".
Cause
The previously installed 25th device management license key caused the failure.
Resolution
Delete old expired license keys on the device for device management and support. Use this CLI command to delete the old license key:
> delete license key <tab>
The tab key displays all keys on the
device. Delete the previously installed 25th device management license key and expired support license key files from the device.
