View 'Saved Configurations' in Panorama Managed Devices

Overview

This document will describe how to view the 'Saved Configurations' in Panorama.

Issue

When navigating to Panorama > Managed Devices to manage connected devices the 'Saved Configurations' box looks empty:

Resolution

The 'Saved Configurations' will not display by just clicking 'save' on Panorama, it has to be saved on the connected device. To configure and enable on the device follow the steps below:

1. Go to the directly connected device. Choose Device > Setup > Operations:
   
2. Click on 'Save named configuration snapshot':
   
3. Assign a name and click OK:
   
4. Go to Panorama and check the 'Saved Configurations'. It will show the configuration that was saved on the device:
   
   The 'Securerunning-config.xml' file can now be seen under the 'Saved configurations'.
