Issue

When running the CLI command below, PAN-OS brings up throughput numbers for the first 20 interfaces, which causes issues on Palo Alto Networks platforms that have more than 20 physical ports.

> show system state browser

Resolution

To obtain statistics about higher ports, perform the following steps:

  1. Run the > show system state browser command
  2. Press Shift + L combination and select port_stats option on the screen
  3. When the screen with the port appears, press the space bar. This should bring up node a change window, for example: sys.s1.p20.stats.
  4. Drill down to the port number and change it to the port desired to get throughput information, such as: sys.s1.p24.stats. This should bring the desired port on the screen, as shown below:ChangeScreen.jpg
