What is the purpose of this migration? I mean, the tool doesnt expose all the config from the GUI, we are not a secondary management platform :-). The config should be stored into the database and if you use this config as a Base Config to import it another config from another vendor the shared gW and the OSPF info should be shown in the OUTPUT. If the tool is not generating this in the OUTPUT please let us know.
Hope that helps
Thanks for the reply , migration scenario is from one PA to another . this is an in-house lab test . basically the goal is to move a Vsys from one PA to device . note that destination has other Vsys's already .
so I wanted to use this tool to see how effective it is , noticed that shared gateway and some dynamic routings are not shown . just wanted to know if it is normal behavior or not . so basically you are telling me that Migration tool will not show everything , is there a list of things ? I didn't came across a limit on the manual .
