Prototype Attributes. Share_level and confidence: Meaning

Hi everybody

 

Could anyone explain me what is the meaning of the values of these attibutes? 

 

Confidence: 0 - 100 Whic is better?

Share level: Red / Green

  • confidence is a integer attribute a source (or a miner on its behalf) can attach to an indicator to tell how sure it is that the indicator is certain. A node down the path (aggregator, outputer, etc.) can accept or discard the indicator with comparison operators (i.e. only accepting these indicators with confidence > 50)
  • you can think of the share_level as the identification of an isolated route path (like a VLAN ID if you come from a background networking as myself). A node might be willing to accept only the indicators that are shared on a given share_level
