題記の仕様変更は7月下旬よりロールアウト開始予定ながら公式アナウンスが未リリースのため、チャネルSCチームにて現状把握した内容をまとめた日本語ガイダンス資料をお届けします。テクニカルなご質問ご相談は、担当チャネルSCもしくはPartner SAM (PSAM)までお問い合わせください。

What's Happening? Palo Alto Networks will automatically enable telemetry data collection on eligible NGFWs via a PAN-OS software update. This "default-on" setting will activate only after customers upgrade their firewalls to one of the new PAN-OS versions.

When is this happening? The phased rollout for default-on telemetry begins with PAN-OS updates from July 2025 to February 2026.

July - October 2025: Starting with 11.2.8 on July 24th, followed by 11.1.11, 10.2.17, and 12.1.2 (Phased Rollout for IoT/SCM/SLS Customers)

February 2026: All Other Customers.

Who is affected? This change impacts all customers with internet-connected Palo Alto Networks NGFWs (including via proxy) as they upgrade to the previously mentioned PANOS versions. It does NOT affect China/FEDRAMP CSP Customers or air-gapped NGFWs. This initiative is a significant step towards delivering a more proactive and integrated security experience for our customers.
