Authentication Sequence
The Authentication sequence feature helps in falling back to a secondary, tertiary authenticaion system if the primary authentication method fails. The Authentication always tries for the first or primary Authentication and if it fails it falls to secondary then tertiary and so on. The local database authentication should be last and external authentication should get precedence and be first as the external authentication is favored as they are reliable and provide dedicated Authentication services, logging and troubleshooting on the servers, and all auth requests from the company come to one authentication server and not done on various vendor products.
