High Availability - Backup Peer HA1 IP Address

 

 

If the primary HA1 link fails the backup HA1 link communicates the control information to exchange information such as hearbeat, configuration sync, HA state information etc between the HA pair devices. It is recommended to have HA1 and HA1 backup both configured so that even if the primary link fails the backup link takes effect immediately to keep the devices in sync and uptodate.
