In this video, we cover the importance of the GlobalProtect Portals - Agent Configuration Data Collection, and we also discuss how the GlobalProtect app will collect and send HIP data from the endpoint to the firewall.

 

Using host information profiles (HIPs) for policy enforcement enables granular security. Remote hosts access the network adhere to the security standards set before they are allowed access. The Collect HIP data best practice check ensures GlobalProtect is enabled to collect information about the host it is running on.
