Read about the new instructor-led PAN-OS 9.0 courses brought to you by the Palo Alto Networks Education team. These new courses focus on PAN-OS and Panorama, from configuration and management to optimizing and troubleshooting. 

 

Before you get ready to take an exam for PCNSE, PCNSA, or PCCSA, check out some of the new instructor-led PAN-OS 9.0 courses brought to you by the Palo Alto Networks Education team.

 

 

Each of the new PAN-OS 9.0 classes includes a new online, post-class exit exam assessment. Here are some highlights of the new courses:

 

Firewall 9.0 Essentials: Configuration and Management (EDU-210)

EDU-210 is an introductory, five-day, instructor-led firewall course based on PAN-OS 9.0 that focuses on how to manage Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls. This course includes relevant new PAN-OS 9.0 topics such as the Policy Optimizer and the new DNS Security service. You'll receive information about how to configure, manage and monitor a Palo Alto Networks firewall. 

 

The new EDU-210 9.0 course is now bundled with a Palo Alto Networks Certified Networks Security Administrator (PCNSA) exam voucher! The PCNSA certification exam, aligned to the EDU-210 course, is designed to validate your ability to configure the central features of Palo Alto Networks next generation firewall. This formal certification exam is closed-book, proctored and delivered through Pearson VUE.

 

Firewall 9.0: Optimizing Firewall Threat Prevention (EDU-214)

This four-day, instructor-led firewall course emphasizes the configuration and management of PAN-OS 9.0 threat prevention features. EDU-214 includes relevant new PAN-OS 9.0 topics such as the Policy Optimizer and the new DNS Security service. It provides information about how to better configure, manage, and monitor PAN-OS threat prevention features. 

 

Panorama 9.0: Managing Firewalls at Scale (EDU-220)

EDU-220 is a two-day, instructor-led course based on PAN-OS 9.0 that covers how to configure and manage the Palo Alto Networks Panorama management server, which helps manage multiple Palo Alto Networks firewalls. This course includes relevant new Panorama topics such as reference templates for device groups, rule changes archive, and test policy functions.

 

Firewall 9.0: Troubleshooting (EDU-330)

This three-day, instructor-led course covers how to troubleshoot visibility and control over applications, users, and content on Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS 9.0 next-generation firewalls. The course addresses relevant new PAN-OS 9.0 topics such as the troubleshooting tool added to the device tab of the web interface and changes to log files and service names for web-interface and API functions. It also provides information about how to troubleshoot the full line of Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls.

Hi all,

 

I have a query.

From when the PCNSE exam will be based on version 9.

I heard it is going to start at ignite on 3rd June ?

I am planning to give my PCNSE exam by June 15th from test center .

Which version i should prepare for it ?

PANOS8 or PANOS9 ...

If i give my exam on 1st June, will it be in PAN OS 9 ?

Actually , i prepared for last two months in PANOS8 and PANOS8.1 and hence more confident to give in PANOS 8/8.1 version .
