Renew PCNSE/PCNSE

L0 Member

Hello,

Does taking a micro-credential "Palo Alto Networks Micro‑Credential Remote User Administrator (PMRuA)" renew my other certifications; e.g PCNSE or PCNSA?

Hi @emanc_21 ,

To re-certify for your PCNSE you will need to retake the PCNSE exam. If you retake your PCNSE and hold a PCNSA, your PCNSE will also rec-ertify your PCNSA.

If PCNSE and PCNSA both just expired and I retake PCNSE does it still re-certify the PCNSA?

if you have the certifications not expired yet, and you present only the PCNSE you keep the PCNSA and will expire the same day.

If I take the PCNSE exam after PCNSA has expired, is it not renewed?

Hi @B.CalderonLucero ,

In order to renew your PCNSA, you'll have to make sure to take your PCNSE while your PCNSA is still active. However, if you earn your PCNSE I wouldn't worry too much about the PCNSA expiring 😄

Good luck!
