About Expedition install

L1 Bithead

Hi Everyone
Please help me if anyone knows anything about this.

We are considering a FW migration and are trying to install the Expedition tool, but we are having trouble understanding the following points.

(1)
I can't find the installer for OVA files,
If you can install from the OVA file, we would like to know the download URL.

If it is possible to install from the OVA file, we would like to know the download URL.
(Is it already no longer supported and no longer available for download?)

(2)
If I install from install.sh, will it work on Redhat?

(※Do you only support ubuntu?)

Hi @KSNJ1216 ,

You should find all these answers under Tools > Expedition on the Live Community!

They no longer use an OVA, but rather an install file for Ubuntu 10.04.  I like that better because the customer has flexibility with their VM environment.

Thanks,

Tom

Hi Tom

Thank you for contacting us.

For various reasons, there was a restriction that the installation had to be made in OVA or using a Redhut-based OS.

However, we did not have any information to confirm this, so we contacted the company.

If there is a statement that OVA no longer exists or that Redhut OS is not supported, we would appreciate it if you could share it with us.
