How to renew traps license after expiry

How can i renew the traps licenses, i am asking in here, because the license has expired, so then i can not raise a case directly with Palo Alto about this, and looking through the documentation, did not find how to do that.

You should be working with a partner from who you got the licenses to begin with to get a renewal setup. If you have since sepperated from that vendor you can reach out to sales@paloaltonetworks.com and they can get someone to help you get the request processed.

Could you please explain what will happen if esm license expired? Which features we can use or which one we can not use it? Our Esm version is  4.2.3.

If memory serves correctly the ESM admin page becomes almost unusable as most of the tabs become inaccessible; you'll only be able to go to the system page to few the information required to get the ESM licensed again and input the new license. 

The Traps agents when they go into an unlicensed state likewise switch to a disabled function, similar to if you stopped all of the cyvera processes.
