Add Virus exception

L0 Member

Hello,

I want to exclude a file (org.eclipse.equinox.p2.core_2.11.0.v20240210-1628-s2028.jar) from beeing detected as a virus (threat id: 751923402).

But when I add the threat ID unter Objects - Security Profile - Antivirus - ProfileName - Signature Exception it says "Threat 751923402 is not a virus type threat - cannot be added to this profile."

What am I doing wrong?

Hi @IT-Esp ,

You might be running into bug PAN-271061 (an issue on the web interface where you were unable to add Threat IDs to Signature Exceptions).

What PAN-OS are you running ? This was resolved in 11.2.8 and 11.1.11

https://docs.paloaltonetworks.com/pan-os/11-1/pan-os-release-notes/pan-os-11-1-11-known-and-addresse...

https://docs.paloaltonetworks.com/pan-os/11-2/pan-os-release-notes/pan-os-11-2-8-known-and-addressed...

Hope this helps,

Please use the CLI as a workaround for PAN-271061.
