Best way to proxy HTTP traffic?

Not applicable

Hey everyone,

Bit of a PAN n00b here, but working with a PA-500 in a small, low bandwidth environment. We want to use the PA to redirect all HTTP traffic from one network through a squid proxy in the same zone (but different subnets/interfaces). The proxy is open to traffic through port 3128, so would the best way be to set up NAT and a PBF rule to first translate the port, then forward to the proxy server? Just wondering what the best way to handle this would be and what the optimal configuration is.

I don't normally work with proxy servers, and am somewhat opposed to it. But bandwidth is scarce to say the least, and reducing traffic is essential to keeping costs down.

Cheers!
